On this short and easy loop, the highlight of the SauerlandRadring, the Kückelheim Fledermaustunnel, is headed for.
Soon after the start in Eslohe, the first highlight of the tour, the Esloher DampfLandLeute, awaits a visit. In the machine museum you can marvel, touch, participate and experience.
Via the SauerlandRadring on a former railroad line, we approach the destination, the famous Kückelheim Fledermaustunnel, where numerous rare bats hibernate in the winter months.During this time, however, the tunnel remains closed to cyclists. A winter variant around the tunnel is then signposted.
On this variant of the SauerlandRadring the tour now continues and through the beautiful Salweytal back to the starting point in Eslohe.
