From here it is worthwhile to visit the city center of Neheim with its spacious shopping area, which stretches between Gransauplatz and Engelbertplatz. Nice pubs invite you to take a relaxing break.
The weekly market in Neheim is particularly lively every Wednesday and Saturday, when locals and numerous visitors meet for shopping in the shadow of the parish church of St. Johannes Baptist, popularly known as the "Sauerland Cathedral".
The "Dom" is Neheim's landmark, visible from afar. From here, after a few meters, you reach Burgstraße, the historical part of Neheim with further sights. The Drostenhof is one of the oldest buildings in Neheim and the birthplace of Wilhelm von Fürstenberg, who was the German Master of the Order in Livonia in the 16th century.
