Attendorn - Petersburg

Petersburg is a district of the Hanseatic town of Attendorn in the Olpe district of North Rhine-Westphalia. It has about 500 inhabitants (2012). The village is located southwest of the center of Attendorn on the state road towards Meinerzhagen. To the south flows the Ihne River and it stretches the Biggetalsperre. From here it is a "stone's throw" to the beautiful Biggesee. Take a leisurely break and set sail with the "White Fleet". The round trips on the Biggesee take about 2 hours and make a stopover in the district town of Olpe possible. Or visit the center of Attendorn. Here you will find an appealing pedestrian zone that invites you to stroll and browse. In the cozy cafes and restaurant you can also stop for a rest.
