Towards the south, in the center of Schoneberg, there is the St. John's Chapel. The neo-Baroque, plastered hall church was built in 1913. The masterful interior restoration from 2008 has turned the small village church into a real jewel. Despite all the renovation and modernization measures, an ancient custom in Westfalen is still maintained here: the bell is still rung by hand for Holy Mass.
