In the village center you will find many shopping facilities as well as the swimming pool of the municipality of Lippetal: Lehrschwimmbecken Lippborg, Ludgeristr. 5, Tel. 02527/455.
The Lippborg funfair (on the last weekend in August and the following Tuesday) and the Rose Sunday parade (since 1983) are the most important events, with over 20,000 people coming to the village each year for each of these events. On the first weekend in July, Lippborg hosts the Schützenfest.
