Neuengeseke, dialect Niggen Jaisken, is divided into an upper and a lower village, connected by the Haienpoth, a stream that leads into the "Neuengeseker Heid" to the south. The silhouette of the village is unmistakably characterized by the church tower. Buildings with almost the same roof pitch and green areas with tall trees are grouped around it. Characteristic for Neuengeseke is the building method with quarry stone, which was found in the vicinity of the village early on.
