We are here at the southern end of the Bad Sassendorf municipal area. Beusingsen, mundartl. Baisingesen, is located 5.5 km southeast of Soest and presents itself as a cluster village with the single settlement Sieplinghof. Small, parcelled areas alternate with larger farmsteads with large areas and buildings. Beusingsen offers space for larger wooded areas and belongs to the series of villages such as Herringsen, Elfsen, Müllingsen, Lendringsen and Hiddingsen, which were created by and for clearing.
