Idyllically located in the Langenbach Valley just outside the city: the Warstein Brewery in Waldpark. The site covers an area of 580,000 square meters, the equivalent of around 80 soccer fields. The "Warsteiner World" visitor center was built in the immediate vicinity on a hill. You can recognize the ensemble of buildings from afar: the main building, the architecturally striking multimedia theater, the guest house and the visitor train station.
In the large 5,000-hectare Warstein Forest, at the highest point of Warstein, the Lörmecke lookout tower was built, offering a panoramic view of the Sauerland and the seemingly endless forests of the Arnsberg Forest.
One of the most important free-climbing courses in North Rhine-Westphalia, with over 100 routes ranging in difficulty from 2 to 9+, has been built on a limestone rock area on the Hillenberg, which can reach heights of up to 60 meters.
