The Soest Börde is a historical dominion and a cultural landscape in the middle of Westfalen. Coming from Möhnesee it is always worthwhile to stop on the Haarstrang, e.g. on one of the highway bridges. Here you have a fantastic view of the famous tower silhouette of the old Hanseatic city of Soest. Its green sandstone towers jut out from green treetops and point the way to a town with over 1000 years of history.
