Welcome to the county seat of the Märkischer Kreis. With an altitude difference of over 300 meters only in the city area (232-539 m above sea level) you are on challenging cycling terrain. Here on Staberger Straße is the Zeppelin Gymnasium. It was built in 1889/90. The name is a reminder of the great aviation pioneer and Lüdenscheid's role in airship construction, which is also the subject of the history museum on Sauerfelder Straße.
