The Lindenbrauerei cultural center is a socio-cultural center and non-profit association on the edge of the pedestrian zone in downtown Unna, which - like so many centers in the region - owes its name to an old production facility.

Today, the Lindenbrauerei cultural center is a venue for events and experimentation, a think tank and meeting place for the so-called scene as well as for "normal" citizens from Unna and the surrounding region. Many associations, initiatives and individual artists meet regularly in the house, coordinate their activities, develop projects and present their work in the center. The range of events at the Lindenbrauerei corresponds to the social and cross-generational spectrum of the audience and is broadly defined. The classic program categories such as cabaret & theater, concerts from pop to classical music, exhibitions and readings are represented as well as children's and youth cultural work. There are events on current local and national topics, festivals by and with foreign citizens, discos and parties.

The Schalander cultural pub is open from Thu-Sat from 6 pm and the cultural and communication center is open for events.
Directions
The Lindenbrauerei is about a 10-minute walk from Unna main station. Follow Bahnhofstraße towards Markplatz and then turn right onto Massener Straße. This leads to the Lindenbrauerei. Alternatively, buses on lines C40, C41 and C42 run at regular intervals from the main railway station to the Lindenbrauerei stop.
