In 1924, Wilhelm von der Brake laid the foundation stone for a vision. Four generations later, it reached its preliminary climax: the Apollo Royal has been realized. After the first deluxe cinema in Germany, which we have been able to present to you on the first floor since 2007, Nicole Güldner and her mother Christel have set another milestone in the history of German cinemas. Take a seat and enjoy the unique ambience of the Apollo Royal. Many local companies were keen for this house to become an exclusive place of entertainment and enjoyment.
Incidentally, the service principle has not changed since the cinema was founded: As early as 1924, the von der Brake family served drinks and sandwiches with the movie. You don't have to do without that: Order a classic movie snack or delicious food at the touch of a button. We are the only cinema in NRW to have received two Cinema Manager Awards. Our cinematic decorations are also award-winning.
