The town library is located on the first floor of the "Old District Office". Following renovation in 2003, a modern media and service center for literature and education has been created there. Two lifts provide barrier-free access. In addition to the above-mentioned reading units, visitors also have access to a reader's information desk and an Internet station. Media not available can be obtained via interlibrary loan. This means that rare or special literature can also be reliably tracked down and delivered.
The public library offers a varied program of events and group tours for schools and kindergartens.
In addition, reading mentors read to all children between the ages of 4 and 10 every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from October to April and every 2nd Thursday from 3.30 pm to 4.15 pm during the summer months.
Changing themes and exciting adventures await listeners of all ages.
