The Bühner family farm, located in beautiful Herscheid, is open to everyone throughout the week and invites you to visit a large part of the farm on your own.
Individuals, families, clubs, kindergartens, elementary school etc. can also book a guided tour of the farm by prior arrangement. The group will be shown the farm in detail, including calf rearing and the milking parlor. You will learn how modern dairy farming works and the Bühner family will answer any questions you may have. The late afternoon is best suited for the guided tours, as this allows the groups to see the milking.
The Bühner family attaches great importance to showing that intensive dairy farming also stands for animal welfare and that high performance can only come from extremely healthy cows.
The tour is completely free of charge; coffee, barbecue, tables/benches and covered seating are available by arrangement and for a fee. For the children, there are delicious cocoa drink packets and a little something to play with free of charge.
Children's birthday parties are also possible; catering is provided for a fee. Games such as scavenger hunts can also be arranged. The farm store is open from Tuesday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and at weekends from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm. Here you can buy:

Opposite the farm there is a parking lot for hikers, from where you can hike to the Verse without the noise of the main road. You can also easily reach the Landgasthaus Vedder or Stottmert. A Heid nature reserve is also not far away.
