Bad Laasphe now has a new lifesaver. A defibrillator has been installed in the foyer of the Haus des Gastes, which is accessible to everyone and can be used to perform life-saving measures in an emergency.
Due to the lack of information about the risk of sudden cardiac death, it is particularly important to have generally accessible information boards and easy-to-use defibrillators in public places.
The Haus des Gastes is a central point of contact for tourists, locals and visitors to various events, the Mushroom Museum and the town library. Various courses and markets also take place here. Precautionary measures should be taken, especially during this busy period.
To make it possible for a layperson to use the device, all defibrillators are provided with instructions in language that explain step-by-step how to use them correctly.
