DISC GOLF?
WHAT IS IT?
The aim of disc golf is to play a predetermined course with as few throws as possible. A disc golf course has between 6 and 24 different lanes, which can be between 40m and 200m long. Each lane has a launch and a target. This is a metal basket that "catches" the disc with its chains.
At the end of the round, the results of the lanes are added together. The game is played with special disc golf disks, which are available in different shapes and with different flight characteristics.
Disc golf is in itself an individual sport, but is usually played in groups of two to five players. A disc golf course is a meeting place where you can arrange to play a round together or meet new people.
Use of the disc golf course is free of charge. We hire out disc golf discs for €3.00 each (€10.00 deposit).
