The barite museum in Medebach-Dreislar shows what beautiful "blossoms" the mineral barite can produce. The exhibition also captivates mining laymen, thanks to a multimedia presentation that puts rock science in a completely new atmosphere.
Exciting, descriptive information makes the museum attractive for young and old. Here, past and present are up close and personal. On display boards you can vividly follow our planet through the ages. In the reconstructed show gallery, you can feel the mining atmosphere of Dreislar's 230-year mining history.
