This hiking parking lot offers the opportunity to park your car free of charge and enjoy wonderful hiking trails.
The fire oak, a special art object on the Rothaarsteig, and many informative boards show the history of forest use. The hiking tour on the Rothaarsteig to Brilon, the starting point of the Rothaarsteig, can be started here. The tour leads directly to the town center of Brilon via the Ginsterkopfs and the Borbergskirchhof. In the other direction, the tour can lead to Bruchhausen or even to Winterberg. Below the Bruchhauser Steine, you can be guided to the Bruchhauser Steine by the information center for a fee.
The quality tour Schmalahtalrundweg on the B1 also starts at this hiking starting point. Please follow the well-marked signs and hike around the Instenberg.
