The special location in the middle of the green Sauerland countryside quickly puts you in a vacation mood. In an idyllic valley surrounded by forests, over 6,000 m² of refreshing water invite you to swim, play and relax.
In addition to a 40-metre-long water slide, our forest outdoor pool offers wonderful sunbathing lawns and a beach volleyball court for sporting competitions. Younger bathers can have fun in the toddler paddling pool and try out various play options such as the standing carousel, swings, sandpit and climbing frame.

The Waldfreibad can also be seen on a hike on the VolmeSchatz Freizeit - Rätselspaß für Groß und Klein theme trail. The start and end point of this tour is the Karlshöhe in Halver with an information board on site.
If you prefer a shorter tour, we recommend the Herpinetal circular trail (A1). A hiking information board at the entrance to the climbing forest provides an overview of the route.
An information board at the edge of the parking lot in front of the outdoor pool provides information about other leisure destinations in the region.
