The little sister of the Bigge reservoir, which was built in 1912 and holds 22 million m³ of water, offers charming hiking experiences along its banks as well as in the surrounding forest areas at any time of the year. Find out more about the Bigge- and Listersee here.
Hiking tip: The KuLTour is an approx. 7 km long circular trail, which you can join right here at the "Kalbernschnacke" hiking parking lot. The combination of art and landscape makes this "KuLTour" an exciting and stimulating hiking trail, where you can discover more than 25 objects, almost exclusively made of natural materials. The KuLTour was nominated as the only trail in NRW in the competition "Germany's most beautiful hiking trail 2018" and reached fourth place in the public vote.
