Latrop offers a variety of walking and hiking trails such as circular trails around the village of Latrop, a panoramic trail, a forest hike over the Rothaar ridge with beautiful views, as well as a variety of walking trails. The valley variant of the Rothaarsteig runs near Latrop.
Latrop's foot adventure treading pool is located in the middle of the village by the village hall. There is a large children's playground right next door for the little ones. The forest workers' museum is next door.
