Bleiwäsche is the southernmost district of the town of Bad Wünnenberg and, at 480 m above sea level ("Schweinskopf"), has one of the highest elevations in the entire administrative district.

The sculpture weighs 2.2 tons and is a reminder of the history of the place, where people dug lead ore out of the ground for centuries.

Mit dem Zug nach Paderborn Hbf; von dort mit dem Bus weiter in Richtung Bad Wünnenberg/Bleiwäsche: Buslinie R11 (bis 05.08.18: 410) Haltestelle Bleiwäsche Kirche. Dann kurzer Fußweg zurück Richtung Hauptstraße und leicht links halten. An der Ecke Bruchstraße/Zum Sauerland befindet sich die Skulptur.
