The museum in the "Stern" is housed in one of the oldest stone houses in the town, built around 1340. The permanent exhibition provides information about prehistory and early history, the town's development, economic history and Warburg's local art history. This section focuses on the life and work of the goldsmith and engraver Antonius Eisenhoit (+1603).

Works by local artists are shown in the gallery. Up to eight special exhibitions can be seen in the Beyersaal every year.
