The opening hours of the outdoor pool are indicated separately, on public holidays the times from 8.00 am to 6.30 pm apply.
The Friedrichstal outdoor pool in Neuenrade is open in summer from May to September. It is situated in a scenic location in the east of Neuenrade.
Although there are no longer any pandemic conditions, all pool visitors are asked to follow the advice and instructions of the pool staff. Only if all pool visitors behave responsibly and considerately.
General description of the outdoor pool
The swimming pool (25 x 50 m) is equipped with eight competition lanes, a wide water slide, a 1-meter diving board, a 3-meter diving tower and a non-swimmers' pool.
The separate paddling pool is 15 x 15 m in size.
There are beach chairs, a kiosk, a beach volleyball court, a soccer pitch and a children's playground on an outdoor / sunbathing area of approx. 15,000 m².
The entire bathing water treatment system has been completely renewed.
There is a gate in the cash desk area which can be opened if necessary (please ring the bell). A visit to the outdoor pool with a baby carriage is therefore "child's play". A small step must then be overcome. A disabled toilet and a disabled shower are available. Visitors to the outdoor pool can access the pool using the access steps. This makes the Neuenrade outdoor pool very interesting from the point of view of accessibility.
Admission tickets
Season tickets, 10-person tickets or one-way tickets can be purchased for admission to the pool.
No replacement tickets are issued in the event of loss.
The tariff for children and young people applies to persons who have not yet reached the age of 18 when they purchase their ticket. This rate also applies to schoolchildren and students with the appropriate ID.
Admission is free for children up to the age of 3.
For parents who have more than two children, the children/teenagers only pay for season tickets for the two eldest children. The younger children can apply for a free ticket. This application can only be made at the citizens' reception of the town of Neuenrade. This regulation only applies to Neuenrade families.
Season tickets for adults and children/young people can be purchased at the Citizens' Reception in Neuenrade Town Hall, Alte Burg 1, 58809 Neuenrade, as well as at the ticket machine in the outdoor pool.
Season tickets for severely disabled persons are only available on presentation of a valid ID.
The lockers are equipped with deposit locks. Only one day's use is permitted.
