This tithe store dates back to 1556 and stands in the center of the village of Assinghausen.

The name "Zehntspeicher" comes from the original task of storing the taxes of the farmers, the tithe.

Today there is a small museum of local history in the interior rooms.

Opening hours only on request. Possibly there will be fees for a guided tour.
