On the 1.2-kilometre walk along the river, you will learn a lot about the agricultural changes in the region, about the operation of old water mills and the use of the Wenne for people. The destination is the Esmeckestausee reservoir with a bathing bay and large sunbathing lawn. So, don't forget your picnic basket and swimming gear!(Source: Naturpark Sauerland Rothaargebirge e.V.)
