Exciting, "artistic" and informative and sometimes even a little scary: no hike could be more entertaining. The "Ampen Culture Trail" tells facts and legends from the history of this beautiful village in Soest at 13 stations and starts at the Schützenhaus in the village center with a faithfully recreated "milestone" of the Coeln-Berliner-Staats-Chaussee. Along the way, information boards and leaflets at each station provide an insight into the history, art and ecology of the Soest district of Ampen.
