Tourist-Information Hallenberg
Cycling once around the southernmost city of Hochsauerland - that means picture-book views of the swinging landscape and picturesque towns. Tip: The tour is perfect for cycling "with tailwind". Three e-bike battery charging stations are located directly along the way.
Hallenberg as the first - or alternatively last - stage is an experience in itself. The historic Altstadt with the market square and the "Kump" is definitely worth a stroll. The route leads through the wide, flat Nuhneaue -the country's largest contiguous mowing meadow area and "living room" of the whinchat. In Braunshausen, cyclists dream for a while at the small chapel.
In Dreislar, the Museum of Heavy Spars is an exciting destination. Visitors go on a journey through 4.6 billion years of the earth's history, experience multimedia mining history, discover meteorites, stardust and the wonderful "Dreislar roses" - flowers made of shimmering mineral. Towards the end of the tour, a great panoramic view of Hesborn impresses once again.
