There are two absolute highlights on this medium-difficulty tour: the trail-rich descent over the Eimberg Grenzkamm and the deep blue Diemelsee. After a break at the lake, the route undulates through fields and woodland back to Willingen.

Directions

Willingen - Hoher Eimberg - Huckeshohl - Diemelsee - Heringhausen - Giebringhausen - Dommelturm - Rattlar - Schwalefeld - WillingenA tough climb to the Hoher Eimberg is followed by 9 kilometers on a trail that runs along the state border. Technically very demanding passages make bikers' hearts beat faster. One kilometer after the Huckeshohl farm, the route descends on asphalt via Bontkirchen and from there into the forest to Diemelsee. You can relax a little on the lakeside road and take a break in Heringhausen am See. We cycle across the fields to Giebringhausen, then steadily uphill to the Dommel tower. This is followed by ups and downs through fields and forests to Schwalefeld. Shortly before Willingen, we have to conquer the Orenberg, which rewards us with a fast descent. Passing the Orenbergschanze, we then descend to Willingen and climb back up to the starting point.
