Over one of the most beautiful climbs of the Sauerland, the serpentines to the Rhine-Weser watershed, this short tour starts from Kirchhundem. In the further course, a short visit to the Siegerland and a few longer and steep climbs await.
Kirchhundem
Kirchhundem
Up to the first serpentines to Oberhundem, warm-up riding is the order of the day. Shortly before the Rhein-Weser-Turm, we turn right to the Panorama Park. After a few undulating kilometers, we "free fall" down the descent to Heinsberg. Despite the fantastic panoramic view, we have to keep our concentration. The climb into the Siegerland to Helberhausen is not to be underestimated. Real climbing skills are required there. On the way back to Sauerland, the ascent is comparatively steady, but longer. You can relax again from Brachthausen, because the long descent back to Kirchhundem follows.
