- Round trip
This long tour from Sundern focuses on three of the best-known reservoirs in the Sauerland: Sorpesee near Sundern, Möhnesee and Hennesee near Meschede. However, this does not mean that it is flat.

The Three Lakes Loop starts in Sundern at the town hall. The route takes you relaxed along the valley of the Linnepe to Grevenstein, home of the Veltins brewery, which we pass directly on the way. After a short ascent, a beautiful descent down to Wenholthausen awaits us. Now the tour leads us a few kilometers uphill to Oesterberge and the airfield Schüren. Above the Hennesee we ride to the small village of Calle. Further on in the valley of the Wenne we reach the Ruhrtal via Olpe. From Oeventrop it goes steadily uphill for several kilometers to Hirschberg. After that a longer flat and scenic section along the Möhnesee awaits. On the shore there are many opportunities to take off your cycling shoes from the pedals and to cool down your feet a bit. Over the western tip of the lake, we continue south and can actually let our legs hang down from Breitenbruch. Because on several kilometers it goes downhill to Arnsberg. Arnsberg with its picturesque Altstadt is just perfect for a short stop and a coffee. The Seufzertal leads us to the next lake, the Sorpesee, on whose eastern shore relaxed cycling is the order of the day.
