From the visitor center, the tour leads over the summer toboggan run, the Langenberg, through the beautiful Hochheide and back over the Ettelsberg.

The tour starts at the Haus des Gastes in Willingen. Follow the signs for MTB route 28, past the summer toboggan run, a long ascent to the Richtplatz and on to the Langenberg, the highest mountain in North Rhine-Westphalia. Some technically challenging sections follow.

A stop at the Hochheidehütte offers cyclists a magnificent view as far as the Medebach Bay, as well as the opportunity to recharge their batteries.

The tour continues over the Clemensberg and past the Hoppecke spring. After "zur Großen Grube" you leave the MTB route and cross the ski lifts and the freeride route. Shortly after the barrier, turn left and continue downhill back to the Haus des Gastes.
