Willhelmsplatz/ Haus des Gastes Bad Laasphe
Wilhelmsplatz/ Haus des Gastes Bad Laasphe
From Bad Laasphe, the cycle tour follows the Lahntal cycle path to Feudingerhütte, just before Feudingen.
Here the route turns off into the idyllic Ilsetal - one of the most beautiful valleys in the Wittgensteiner Land region. The tour follows the meandering course of the Ilse stream on a lonely district road.
If you are still in good shape, you can take a detour to the dreamy Weidelbacher Weiher pond via hiking trail B2. At the turn-off to Banfe, there is a short, steep climb up to the "Indel" before the trail descends into the wide Banfe valley with its beautiful views.
From Banfe, with its remarkable twin-towered church, a cycle path leads through the lovely valley via the villages of Banfe, Herbertshausen and Laaspherhütte back to Bad Laasphe.
