- From A to B
This short bike tour takes you from Brilon train station directly to the Möhnequelle.
Brilon train station
Möhnequelle
From the train station of the old Hanseatic city of Brilon, the route leads along the spa park. The spa park offers several water areas with resting and sunbathing facilities and a Kneipp facility, whose water comes from the nearby Möhnequelle, to which this bike route leads.
On the short stretch you leave the hospital Maria Hilf on the left and arrive at Brockmannshütte.
The Möhne rises on the southern edge of the extensive Brilon plateau about 2 km south-southeast of downtown Brilon. The source is located on the eastern slope of the Poppenberg at about 545 m above sea level in the Gewann Helle, the so-called "Little Switzerland".
The last (approx. 300) meters can not be cycled and must be walked.
