The cycle tour initially follows a cycle path via the villages of Laaspherhütte and Herbertshausen to Banfe. The route continues along the slope of the beautiful Banfe valley to the Hesselbach valley. Here the route turns left to Hesselbach. At the end of the village, there is a short climb before the trail descends behind the state border into the Boxbach valley. In the Boxbach valley - with a long mining tradition - the tour leads past the Waldhotel Gille to the village of Wiesenbach and via Breidenbach into the Perf valley. Here the route meets the lake cycle path, which takes cyclists to the Perf reservoir. The beautifully situated reservoir, completed in 1993, invites you to take a pleasant break (tip: Seeblick restaurant). The route then continues via Breidenstein with its half-timbered castle, which is well worth seeing, to Wallau. Together with the Lahntal cycle path, the tour leads through the Lahntal valley back to Bad Laasphe.
