Round trip from Waldhausen

We start at the Schützenhalle in Waldhausen and follow the "Höhre" road in a south-easterly direction, then turn left into St. Antonius-Straße. Turn left again at the first opportunity (descending path) to Lippstadt Straße, which we cross and cycle through Mellricher Hölzchen in the direction of Mellrich. Cross Mittelstraße onto Anröchter Straße and take the cycle path towards Anröchte. Cycle via Kathagen onto Klieve Straße through the industrial estate, cross the B55 and follow the accompanying cycle path. At the left-hand bend, it is worth taking a detour to the Klieve obelisk with its viewing platform into the quarry, then continue following the cycle path signs through Klieve to the Klieve mill, and further slightly downhill into the Soest Börde. At junction 31, turn left towards junction 33 and the Schmerlecker Mühle mill is privately owned. At junction 33, turn left towards Altengeseke (junction 34). We then follow the cycle path signs to Altenmellrich. We take the church path along the Sonnenbornbach stream to junction 35, where we return to the outward route at Mellricher Hölzchen and follow the cycle route signs back to the starting point.Tour suggested by: Rita Cordes
