The race will again be organized by RC Victoria Neheim in cooperation with SVL Sports GmbH and many clubs and communities from the Hochsauerlandkreis. The original idea came to the makers together with Hermann Hoffe from W.O.L.L. magazine. As in previous years, the Bund Deutscher Radfahrer (German Cyclists' Association) gave the race the go-ahead to become a national league race. The race through the land of 1000 mountains has only been held for a few years, but enjoys great popularity. Numerous spectators flock to the Hirschberger Wand, the Arnsberger Schlossberg, the Niederwald to the Odin near Meschede and the Rochuskapelle in Eslohe for the party mile. The tour starts in downtown Neheim and ends at the Kahler Asten. The route leads from Neheim in the direction of Arnsberg, Warstein, Meschede, Sundern, Eslohe, Schmallenberg up to Winterberg.

Safty guidelines

On the day of the race, the roads to be traveled will be completely closed at times. The police will work with a rolling cordon. This means that the traffic will be stopped shortly before the arrival of the race and will be released again after the passage of the complete escort. This means a full closure, but of course not everywhere for the entire race day, but only for a short moment.

Public transiot

From Dortmund, the RE 57 will take you directly to the starting point in Neheim without any changes. Once you have arrived at the finish in Winterberg, you can use the same train connection back to Dortmund.

Getting there

Via the A 44 (Dortmund - Kassel) and the A 46 (Arnsberg - Brilon) you will reach Neheim.Once you have arrived in Winterberg, you can take the RE 57 train back to Neheim.
