The ascent to the Rhein-Weser-Turm has a real Alpine feel: One hairpin bend follows the next.

Overall, the ascent to the Rhein-Weser-Turm is very pleasant and even. What makes it special are the beautiful serpentines, which provide a touch of the Stelvio Pass in the Sauerland. Although the famous Tibet Hut does not await you at the summit, the Rhein-Weser-Turm with its restaurants does.
The onward journey is also very attractive. Long bends take you into the Edertal. A few kilometers later in Aue-Wingeshausen, the junction is waiting to climb back up to Jagdhaus on the ridge of the Rothaargebirge.
From Oberhundem, simply follow the main road uphill and you will reach the Rhein-Weser-Turm after a few kilometers
