The first highlight of the tour is the Eslohe Museum of Local History and Machinery at the very beginning. However, you should perhaps plan a visit at the end of the tour. The tour continues via Sallinghausen and a beautiful new railroad cycle path to Wenholthausen.

Via Büenfeld, Erflinghausen and Mielinghausen you reach the Hennesee. You cross the bridge that separates the foreland and main basin of the lake and cycle along the eastern shore on a beautiful quiet marginal path in the direction of Meschede. At the end of the marginal path you reach the dam of the Hennetalsperre. There you have the opportunity (on foot) to go down the Himmelstreppe and take a look at the beautifully landscaped Hennepark.

Via the cycle path, the route climbs slightly to the beautiful half-timbered village of Remblinghausen, which is ideal for a short rest. At junction 24 you turn off to Herhagen. Via Reiste you reach the SauerlandRadring again and follow it back to Eslohe.
