The tour starts in the center of Kirchhundem, directly at the town hall. From there you follow a well-maintained cycle path along Flaper Str. through the idyllic village of Flape to the end of Emlinghausen.

From there, an asphalted farm road leads up to the pilgrimage church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Kohlhagen, which is over 500 years old and well worth seeing. From here it is worth taking a short detour to the picturesquely situated country hotel Gut Ahe, ideal for a rest, because here you have almost completed half of the tour.

The way back leads via Brachthausen, Wirme and Emlinghausen on the same cycle path to Kirchhundem - this time, however, it is always downhill.

Rescue points can be found, among other things, on the information boards at the junctions of the Südwestfalen cycling network.

Public transiot

Via the regional route Essen-Siegen, destination station Lennestadt-Altenhundem, Lennestadt-Grevenbrück or Kirchhundem. Then continue by bus to Kirchhundem.

Getting there

from the north and south via the A 45 and B55 (freeway exit Olpe, B 55 towards Lennestadt),from the west via the A 4/A 45 ,(freeway exit Olpe, B 55 towards Lennestadt), from the east via the A 44 / B 55 (freeway exit Anröchte, B 55 towards Meschede).
