Junction 93, Bad Sassendorf
Between the heights of the Sauerland and the Münsterland park landscape lies a region worth discovering: Whether Hellwegbörde or Lippetal, the largely flat yet varied, attractive landscape offers ideal conditions for relaxed cycling.
Along the historic trade route Hellweg, cyclists can explore the fertile Börde landscape with its farmsteads and old villages. You cycle through colorful meadows and floodplain landscapes, follow idyllic river courses and discover, in addition to the wonderful nature, enchanted castles, imposing church buildings, old alleys and historic half-timbered houses in typical Westphalian style.
In many places, cozy cafés, old rustic inns and lovingly designed guest rooms in old farmhouses invite you to linger.
