Welver
The northern half-route with a length of approx. 30 km is designated as a "Kult(o)ur" route. Along the route, you can marvel at the historical cultural assets and architectural monuments of the municipality.
But nature is not neglected on this route either. With a bit of luck, you can go birdwatching from the Ahsewiesen observation hut just before Hachenei. The Ahsewiesen is an extensive area of wet meadows where curlews, lapwings, marsh harriers, spoonbills, teals and garganey ducks, white storks, meadow pipits and red-backed shrikes breed. Migratory birds such as bean geese and white-fronted geese, cranes, green and redshank can be observed here.
Discover the history of the municipality of Welver on this cycle route. The route leads along asphalted paths and farm tracks.
