Sundern-Langscheid
Sundern-Langscheid
The approx. 26 km long tour starts in Langscheid on the Sorpesee (junction 35). Right at the start, cyclists can enjoy the beautiful Sorpe promenade and the spa gardens. Along the route along the Sorpesee, there are always wonderful views of the lake.
After the lido and two campsites, you pass the Mosaik outdoor center. Numerous team training and adventure-based educational programs are offered here. Right next to it are the beautiful Swedish houses and tree houses.
At junction 37, you leave the Sorpesee and turn towards Mellen and Wocklum. The picturesque Schloss Wocklum, owned by the von Landsberg-Velen family, is located here. A visit to the Luisenhütte adventure museum is well worthwhile. The museum shows how iron was produced and processed.
The route continues via Beckum, Hövel and Enkhausen. Here you will find the Heinrich Lübke House, a museum and memorial dedicated to former German President Heinrich Lübke.
In Langscheid, you return to the starting point of the tour.
