Journey to Arnsberg

By car to Arnsberg
Arnsberg is located in North Rhine-Westphalia in the Hochsauerland district.
Coming from the direction of Dortmund on the BAB 44, you can reach Arnsberg via the "Kreuz Werl" junction. From there Arnsberg is signposted. To reach the Altstadt of Arnsberg, take exit no. 65 from the BAB 46. Coming from the direction of Kassel (BAB 44), you can either take the Soest exit (exit no. 56) via the B 229 in the direction of Möhnesee to Arnsberg or you can also drive to the Werl junction.
From Soest you can reach Arnsberg via the B 229, passing the beautiful Möhnesee.

By train to Arnsberg
Coming from the Rhineland or the Ruhrgebiet, you can reach Arnsberg via the Dortmund junction by regional express in about 45 minutes or via Hagen/Schwerte in about 40 or 35 minutes, respectively, here the regional express leaves every 40 minutes.Coming from Kassel-Wilhelmshöhe (R17/R57 "Obere Ruhrtalbahn"), you can reach Arnsberg by regional express in about 2 hours.
