Siedlinghausen is the largest village in the urban area after the core town of Winterberg and bears the nickname "artists' village". Numerous commercial and retail businesses are located here. At the northern entrance to the town, to the Olsberg town border before Brunkappel, lies the lowest point in the Winterberg town area at around 420 meters above sea level. Up to the "Kahler Asten", 841 meters above sea level, 18 kilometers away, the altitude is thus doubled. Above the railroad bridge in the direction of Silbach, there used to be quarries in the "Meisterstein" and the "Iberg", which are now beautiful mountain lakes.
