This challenging circular tour leads in a northerly direction out of Brilon. Along the Almeradweg you now climb a first gentler ascent. Shortly before the village of Alme, you reach the source of the Alme. The tour now leads in a long descent through the village.
Through beautiful nature you cycle through the Alme valley and near the village of Harth you reach the nostalgic station Ringelstein. Here, until 2014, lovers of railroad romance got their money's worth. Unfortunately, the forest railroad is now at a standstill.
The route then continues through the idyllic Ringelstein forest to Siddinghausen. There you will find the turning point of your tour. You leave the Almeradweg and follow the Kaiser-Route first uphill towards the south, before it goes downhill again through the Meisterwald. You meet the B 516 and follow the R 47 cycle path on a flat climb back to Brilon.
