Lennestadt-Altenhundem
Lennestadt-Altenhundem
After starting in Lennestadt/Altenhundem, the tour follows the SauerlandRadring until Grevenbrück. There the route turns into the Veischede valley and leads up the valley via Bilstein. The medieval Burg Bilstein towers high above the village and can be seen from afar. The castle from the 12th century houses a youth hostel.
The route continues via Kirchveischede on a cycle path to Oberveischede.
Now you can cycle a nice long stretch relaxed downhill. From Mecklinhausen you cycle through the idyllic Repetal with its high-quality gastronomic offers. In Borghausen, the tour turns right and you cycle back onto the SauerlandRadring to the starting point of Altenhundem.
