The road bike tours of the Bike Arena Sauerland run on roads where motorized traffic is to be expected.

Public transiot

There are no train stations along the route. It is only possible to travel to a limited extent by bus. The nearest train station to the starting point is in Olsberg.

Getting there

Coming from Frankfurt: In Frankfurt, take the A5. At the Gambach interchange, turn onto the A45 towards Gießen / Marburg and follow the highway to Marburg. Continue on the Marburg city highway to the Korbach / Frankenberg exit and stay on the B 252 to Frankenberg (Münchhausen, Ernsthausen, Bottendorf). In Frankenberg, continue in the direction of Schreufa / Sachsenberg / Münden. From Münden, please follow the signs to Medebach.Coming from Paderborn: You are leaving Paderborn. Leave the B1 and take the A33 in the direction of Brilon, Kassel, Dortmund. Stay on the A33 and follow the road towards Korbach. From Korbach follow the signs to Medebach.Coming from Dortmund, Arnsberg: From Dortmund (A1), drive to the Dortmund/Unna interchange, change to the A44 and drive towards Kassel until you reach the Werl interchange. Here, take the Arnsberg exit (A445). Stay on the A445 in the direction of Meschede (the highway merges into the A46) until the end of the highway (Bestwig). Drive in the direction of Winterberg (B7). 2km before Biggen continue in the direction of Winterberg (B480), you will pass through Assinghausen, Wiemeringhausen and Niedersfeld. Approx. 9 km after Niedersfeld, turn left towards Medebach and drive through the village of Küstelberg. Shortly before entering Medebach, you will see the entrance to Park Hochsauerland on your left.
