Recommended seasons
From Winterberg it goes past the Kahler Asten to the Landwehr, down to Neuastenberg into the valley and uphill to Mollseifen . A visit to the Lenne spring on the Kahlen Asten is worthwhile. We continue cycling through deep coniferous forest, mainly downhill, to Züschen. In Züschen we follow the Nuhne for a short distance and then climb the ridge between Liesen and Züschen. Through the fields we go to Hesborn and immediately back into the forest towards Kleiner and Großer Bromberg. After a long descent we reach the lowest point of our tour (440m) and then have to leave the fantastic Orketal again from the Ehrenscheider Mühle. It goes over an initially very steep and long ascent up to Winterberg. Now back to the Bremberg, and we have a beautiful tour through the Sauerland behind us.
