Almost 1000 meters in altitude have to be overcome on this road bike tour on approx. 70 kilometers through the Märkischer Kreis. The kilometers along the two reservoirs offer relaxation.
This tour leads through the southern Märkischer Kreis. The main road 229 is followed in the direction of Lüdenscheid as far as Altenmühle. Here we turn into the Schwarze Ahe. The road meanders around the tranquil Ahe stream. From the Herscheid mill, there is a climb that is easy to manage on the new cycle path. We roll down to the Versetalsperre dam and enjoy the car-free road on the forest side with a beautiful view of the dam. From Reblin we cycle on a very quiet side road to Kisbert. Further along the route is the Oestertalsperre reservoir, which invites you to linger and enjoy a refreshment stop. Following the Oester, we reach Plettenberg, which we leave on the B236 in the direction of Finnentrop. From Linschede we climb the Schlot on a moderate gradient. After a great descent, another climb follows from Hüttebrüchen to Affeln. From here we return to Neuenrade.
